GAMA-1 Technologies is seeking a remote Full Stack Developer to support the design, development, and modernization of cloud-based applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building responsive front-end experiences, reliable back-end services, and scalable APIs while working in a collaborative Agile environment.

The Full Stack Developer will help build and enhance high-performance applications using modern technologies such as React, JavaScript, Node.js, Java Spring Boot, WebGL, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms including AWS or Azure. This person will also leverage Generative AI development tools to accelerate coding, improve quality, validate system outputs, and support more efficient software delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain responsive front-end and back-end applications using modern development frameworks.
  • Develop user interfaces and reusable components using React, JavaScript, and React component libraries.
  • Build, implement, test, and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services.
  • Support code deployments through CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  • Validate that system outputs align with expected formats, business rules, and values.
  • Use Generative AI development tools to assist with coding, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and development acceleration.
  • Apply best practices in GenAI prompting, reviewing AI-generated content, and ensuring generated outputs meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, testers, and stakeholders in an Agile development environment.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
  • Support cloud-based application development and deployment using platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, improve performance, and contribute to overall system reliability.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with React, JavaScript frameworks, and React component libraries.
  • Strong experience developing full stack applications across both front-end and back-end layers.
  • Strong experience designing, implementing, and testing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with Node.js, Java Spring Boot, or similar back-end technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD, code deployment, and version control workflows.
  • Experience validating system outputs against expected formats, values, and requirements.
  • Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools to assist in software development.
  • Knowledge of GenAI prompting best practices and ability to review AI-generated content for quality and accuracy.
  • Experience working in an Agile development team.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with WebGL, Canvas, data visualization, or interactive web applications.
  • Experience supporting federal, scientific, weather, environmental, or mission-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, code quality tools, and secure software development practices.
  • Experience working with cloud-native applications, containers, or DevOps teams.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required.
