Summary  
GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC seeks an experienced Software Developer– Web Applications IV to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-level web applications, ServiceNow solutions, and content management systems in a remote environment. The candidate will provide senior-level programming expertise, oversee full-stack and platform-based development efforts, and ensure web and ServiceNow systems meet stringent performance, security, and accessibility standards required in the federal environment.

Essential functions/responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for enterprise web and platform development projects, overseeing architecture, design, and implementation.
  •  Develop, test, and deploy web applications, APIs, and user interfaces using modern frameworks and programming languages.
  • Translate functional requirements into scalable and maintainable web and platform solutions that meet customer and security specifications.
  • Integrate applications with databases, RESTful services, and third-party APIs.
  • Design, configure, and integrate custom web components and dashboards within the ServiceNow Platform to support ITSM, ITOM, and custom application needs.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, administrators, and stakeholders to enhance user experience, automate workflows, and maintain platform integrity.
  • Develop REST/SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems to enable data sharing and process automation.
  • Oversee code reviews, enforce secure coding standards, and ensure compliance with organizational cybersecurity policies.
  • Support content management systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress, or Adobe Experience Manager, including module/plugin development and customization.
  • Lead efforts to modernize legacy web applications to cloud-native or containerized architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Optimize web performance, scalability, and responsiveness across browsers and devices.
  • Mentor junior developers, establish development best practices, and contribute to continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including code repositories, deployment procedures, and version control standards.

Information Security and Confidentiality Obligations
  • Ensure adherence to organizational information security policies and procedures; actively participate in mandatory security awareness training; and manage confidential and sensitive information in accordance with company protocols and data protection standards.

Basic Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in web programming and development, including senior or lead developer responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in modern web programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js, Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), PHP, or Java (Spring Boot), MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server
  • Experience designing, developing, or integrating solutions within the ServiceNow Platform, including scripting, UI customization, and API development.
  • Demonstrated experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design, authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML), and web security practices (OWASP).
  • Proven ability to lead development teams, interface with federal stakeholders, and deliver on mission-critical projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator,  AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional Certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Implementation Specialist (CIS) Certifications, Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Application Specialist – Flow Designer
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, scripting (Glide, JavaScript, Jelly), and UI customization.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM modules.
  • Certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, AWS Certified Developer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or Security+.
  • Experience developing for federal or enterprise-level clients, adhering to secure development frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Drupal 10, React with Next.js, GraphQL, or microservices architecture.
  • Experience using DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's and client facilities.
